Monday 14 Jun - 15 Rounds - 5 Pull Ups, 10 Push Ups, 15 Squats

Darwin Half Marathon - Sunday 25th July. You can enter as an individual (21k), as a team of 2 (10k each) or a team of 4 (5k each). I will start a board at CFD with those 3 categories so you can add your name to a team or as an individual runner. I will get special edition CFD 1/2 Marathon singlets made up in high vis colours so we stand out!!

  5. Hi Kelly,

Told you I would keep it up while I'm away...tonights session was a long 18:15. Can you please add my result to the Results board so I can compare it next time?

Bit of a funny story for you...My parents don't have a pull up bar, so I used the clothsline instead; which I may have accidentally broken as I'm a lil fatty boombalada! I heard a crack and bam, sitting on my arse on the wet grass in the rain! ha ha

  7. I can't do tomorrows session...Rings are pure evil.

I'll do a tabata workout instead from a couple weekends ago.

My heaves were somewhat interesting after my lil fall...I wouldn't say they were anything decent, I got scared so did some weird arse jump up ones on the other side of the clothesline. :)

  8. Yvette - funny! Your time has been added to the results board now and the photo updated. Keep the holiday WODs up - when you get back you can learn to love the rings!

  9. Ha ha ha...I love how you put clothesline as to the colour of the band!

Today no WOD cause lacking equipment, but went for an hour long run, 20 mins of which was on the beach. Legs are sories now!!

  10. Yeah except i wrote it at 5am and put clothsline!

I can only let you get away with 1 long slow distance run a month!! Sprint/interval sessions are the way to go. Check out www.crossfitendurance.com for some WOD inspiration. Why? More efficient use of time, less wearing on your joints, creates a more powerful running athlete who is able to sprint short distances but still cover the long ones if required. Unless of course you love running for an hour then who am I to deny you!!
